Line Shield is a new service offered by Line Clear Express & Logistics Sdn Bhd to protect your parcel/shipment with a Guarantee on Claims. To ensure we create a totally unique experience to continuously improve our customer service, Line Shield provides a Free Digital Gateway Portal for Line Clear Express customers. It is simple, fast, convenient and secured.

2. What are the benefits of using Line Shield?

Line Shield offers a new and attractive 3 in 1 product known as “Line Shield Package” which comes with 3 main features to ensure that your parcel/shipment is fully covered including offerings of other added value services.

  • Guarantee Claims

Once you sign up and receive confirmation on your registration via e-mail, you can use your Line Shield log-in ID to easily declare your shipment from your office or anywhere at your own convenience by availing Line Shield Package to enjoy the full coverage.

3. Can any customer sign up with Line Shield and purchase Line Shield Package?

You would need to be a Line Clear Express registered Account Holder in order to sign up with Line Shield and enjoy this facility. As for walk-in customers at our branches, Line Shield Package is temporarily unavailable but will be launched in the near future.

4. Is there a fee for registration?

Registration is free.

6. How do I register for this service?

You may register at www.lineclearexpress.com
On the Top Menu, Go to Services and click Line Shield from the Drop Down List.

7. How do I know if my registration is successful?

Once you have duly completed the Registration Form and submitted to Line Clear Express & Logistics Sdn Bhd, your registration will be processed within 48 hours upon receipt of your submission. An auto-generated email will then be sent to your registered email address to notify you with instructions on how to reset your new password and Login.

8. I didn’t receive any confirmation and how do I know if my registration is successful?

9. Is it secure?

The security of your data and details of your shipment declaration is the priority of our concern. Line Shield website is a digital gateway powered by using highly secured technology to ensure that your transaction performed is seamless and your data is safe.

10. What is the pricing of Line Shield Package & the maximum protection coverage on the value shipment/parcel?

The maximum coverage for any Consignment Note (CN) shipment /parcel is RM10,000 at any one time.

11. Does my Protection Coverage have any expiry?

Line Shield Package Protection coverage is valid from the date of purchase where the pick-up date of the shipment/parcel is on the same day or later until the consignee/recipient receives the shipment/parcel

12. Apart from the protection coverage on the value shipment what are the other 2 features that customer enjoys from Line Shield Package?

a) SMS to Shipper That means once the shipment/parcel arrives at the doorstep of the receiver/consignee, the sender/shipper will be notified via SMS notification on the same day.

b) Guarantee Claims feature. That means your claims for compensation is guaranteed under our insurer, Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad.

13. What is the location coverage under Line Shield Package?

The location coverage is only within Malaysia (including Sabah & Sarawak)

14. Where and how can I purchase Line Shield Package?

You may only purchase Line Shield Package if you are a Line Clear Express Account Holder and have registered online with Line Shield.

15. What do I get when I purchase Line Shield Package via online?

Upon purchase of Line Shield Package via successful submission of CN Declaration, an automated e-Notification mail detailing your purchase of Line Shield Package as acknowledgement receipt will be sent to your registered email address.

16. When do I get invoiced or billed on the above purchase?

All Line Shield Package purchased on the same month will be invoiced on the 1st week of the following month and the invoice generated will be sent to your correspondence address.

17. How do I make Line Shield Package payment and what is the credit terms?

You may make the payment via any of your banker or online banking and indicate your Line Clear Express Account number and invoice number in the reference box.

You may also use JomPay Online Banking facility for free. Our Line Clear Express Biller Code number is 18465

18. How do I make a claim?

You may Login into Line Shield website and go to Claim webpage and complete the necessary details and submit. The Compensation Team will revert to you within 48 hours to assist you in processing your claim.

– For loss or missing shipment, the claim must be made and submitted to Line Clear Express & Logistics Sdn Bhd within 30 days from the date of posting/pick-up by the carrier.
– Damage goods must be reported within 48 hours upon receipt of the shipment/parcel

19. Is my claim guaranteed and how long must I wait for compensation?

Your Claim submitted is guaranteed and underwritten by Zurich General Insurance (M) Berhad, an insurance company licensed in Malaysia. However, all claims for damage or loss must be reported within 30 calendar days from the date of pick up, thereafter the expiry of 30 days duration, any claims reported will not be accepted and entertained.

All compensation is subject to a deductible/excess of RM200 for each and every loss. Compensation will be paid within 14 working days from the date of receipt of all supporting and valid documentation subject to further investigation by Line Clear Express Compensation Unit.

20. How will my claim be paid if approved?

Line Clear Express & Logistics Sdn Bhd ensures that all claims will be paid to the insured party and proceeds credited into the customer’s banking account.

21. If my item is valued RM1,800 and I have purchased LSP 2.0 (Line Shield Package 2.0 is from RM1001 to RM2,000 coverage), what is the amount of the compensation if my item is lost or damaged?

Compensation is based and subject to the invoice value of the item insured. In this scenario, the compensation to be paid out is RM1,800
